Bodo people

The Bodos (pronounced bo-ros) are an ethnic and linguistic community, early settlers of Assam in the northeast part of India in South east Asia. According to the 2011 census, there are nearly 2 million Bodos in Assam which makes for 5.5% of the total population in the territory.
