INTRODUCTION
Darjeeling, the northernmost district of the Jalpaiguri Division, roughly resembles an inverted wedge with its base resting on Sikkim, its sides touching Nepal, Bhutan, Bhutan and the Jalpaiguri District of West Bengal.
