Japanese Peace Pagoda

The Japanese Peace Pagoda was established by Nipponzan Myohoji, a Japanese Buddhist order. Situated on the slopes of the Jalapahar Hill the pagoda can be reached by foot or taxi. The pagoda is the highest free structure in the town. It also showcases the four avatars of Buddha.

Situated near the Peace Pagoda is Nipponzan Myohoji Temple. The temple is based on a traditional Japanese Architecture and offers visitors a peaceful retreat. Visitors can also meditate and interact with the Japanese Monks. Photography inside the Temple is allowed.
