Sikkim National Party was a political party based in the erstwhile Kingdom of Sikkim. It was formed in 1950 and was pro-Monarchy. The party advocated complete independence of the Kingdom of Sikkim1. The party was founded to counter the growing influence of the pro-Indian parties like Sikkim State Congress and Rajya Praja Sammelan. Both the pro-Indian parties were formed under the supervision of the Indian National Congress after the independence of India in August 1947.

The party won one seat in the 1974 General Election. This was the only seat which Sikkim National Congress was not able to win. Kalzang Gyatso was the lone Sikkim National Party to win2
