Sukna is a charming locale situated at the foot hills of Himalayas, in Darjeeling District, West Bengal. It is located around 18 km from Siliguri, along the toy train route from New Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling. Sukna is the third station on the route and it is from here that the real ascent to the hills begins.
Sukna, nestled amid serene forests and unspoilt nature, is a favored picnic spot in the district. Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary is the major attraction. Boating facilities are available at Umrao Singh Boat Club.
Civil Enclave Bagdogra (Bagdogra Airport) serves Sukna. Siliguri Junction Railway Station offers connections to New Delhi and Kolkata.
